  Ring Size Guide

Find Your Ring Size

1. Find a thin piece of string or thread.
2. Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger.
3. Using a pen, mark the point on the string where it overlaps, forming a complete circle.
4. With a millimeter (mm) ruler, measure the length from the starting end of the string to the pen mark.
5. Use this measurement and the chart below to determine your ring size.

Helpful Hints

Measure your ring in warm temperatures – cold fingers tend to be smaller.
When considering a wide band (6mm or wider), move up ½ a size for a more comfortable fit.
The average woman’s ring size is about 6.5 and the average man’s ring size is about 10.
Ring sizes are not like shoe sizes. When measuring a ring, a man’s size 7 is the same as a woman’s size 7.
If you are buying the ring as a surprise, ask the intended recipient’s mother or friend if they know his or her ring size.
